The Mission Control Organization is based on the principle of agreement.
An example:
Every event has a list of specific agreements, called the "Charter" that everyone who participates agrees to in order to participate. If we agree, we may participate together. Moreover, making an agreement is how we participate.
Decisions and obligations are made voluntarily and according to agreement. If agreement cannot be reached, discussion continues. If agreement can still not reached, it is the role and responsibility of the Bridge to establish a decision, however, this is an exception to the agreement process. In almost every case, decisions within the organization are made by agreement.
An important reason for agreement is to clearly and firmly establish consent. Consent is permission for something to happen. It applies to personal relationships, physical and emotional boundaries, and at Mission Control, to everything we do.
The following agreements are always in force at Mission Control:
"Ask First"
"One No is Enough"
